I have now programmed three new 996P2 units for a station in town, and they seem unable to pick up CLMRN. I program using ARC XT, I just moved two of them from the station ...They linked Wallingford's P25 site to some CLMRN sites. Feb 3, 2023. #11. From my experience on trips to Austin, TX the SDS100 is far superior to the 436HP receiving simulcast systems. The SDS200 is also superior to the 536HP on CLMRN. When I drove through CT wih a 536HP in my truck there were often dead spots. Hi thom, I have a BCD996P2 scanner which I have been unable to get to work on CSERN but worked on CSP 800MHz for 10 years flawlessly, and they are still selling all the OLDER Phase 2 type scanners. Tried every option in the book, and them some, with little luck. Can get it to pick a channel then no audio, drops channel and goes back to control channel.

The version of the database that is from RR does not work on either my SDS100 or my BCD325P2 from home, even though both of those scanners are able to receive p25 systems.They have migrated from the old 4.1 system to the new 7.X system, all the 800 channels are still used and they added some 700 channels.
