My annoying Elden Ring hot take since day 1 has been "Occult should have been a damage type." Holy is two damage types right now: Golden Order magic for killing Those Who Live in Death, and the godslaying magic imbued in Maliketh's sword and to a lesser extent the Black Knife.

The Arcane/Occult build could buff it with Seppuku to push the Bleed build up even higher, but Seppuku got nerfed recently and doing this also locks you out of using a different Ash of War skill, like Unsheathe. If you don't want to use weapon buffs often, then the Arcane/Occult version is going to be better overall though.

For uchi especially, I don't see any point of going keen when occult exist, except maybe only during early/mid game when relied on unseathe, but late game occult is superior to anything except maybe cold IMO.
